Antique 1890s Black Red Cut Velvet Mutton Sleeve Victorian Bodice Jacket, Steampunk, XS

Eye-catching antique 1890s black and red cut velvet Victorian bodice jacket! She's styled with a high lace trimmed red satin neckline and gathered center bust with a cut velvet body featuring a dramatic winged open collar, long gathered leg of mutton sleeves with lace trimmed hems and a flared split front hem lined with red satin with a V'd front waist. The most flattering fit and flare silhouette, she's fully lined with cotton and is boned at every seam. Hook and eye closures down front of cotton lining and additional hook/eyes that close across left side bodice. Two hook/eyes at back satin collar.

Black silk fabric piece loosely stitched on top of portion of left side cotton lining - can be removed but I'm leaving for buyer to decide. There is an eye here and I think it was added to alleviate stress from closures directly on cotton lining.
