Late 1890s 1900s Antique Cropped Black Victorian Bodice Jacket with Calico Lining, XS

Near excellent condition authentic antique Victorian / Edwardian bodice jacket! Made of tightly woven black cotton possibly wool blend gabardine with horizontal ribbed dotted silk trim styled with a lace trimmed banded collar neckline. Styled with ornamental trimmed notched lapels with a center inset of gathered dotted silk that culminates in tight pleats. The fitted long sleeves are trimmed with box pleats. Such a lovely silhouette with flattering seam-work and a slightly dipped trimmed front and back hem. Fully boned and lined with cotton calico with calico underarm pads as well. The bodice jacket closes with hooks and eyes down the center.
