Fantastic late Victorian or early Edwardian 1900s cropped bolero bodice jacket! The fabric has a unique texture - I believe it's a woolen silk crepe. Black with colorful embroidery outlined with metallic bullion that trims the neckline, front bodice and V'd sleeve hems. Double dark green velvet princess seams extend from each underarm seam as well as from the back shoulders to center back hem. Subtle blouson effect with nipped waist. The cropped bolero jacket is fully lined with glazed black cotton with it's own interior hook/eye closures and is boned at every seam. There are two additional eyes at upper left neckline - quite possibly a neck collar attached here at one point. I've left them on but can remove if you prefer.
Content: Woolen silk crepe / glazed cotton / embroidery with metallic bullion trim
Best Fit: XXS - XS
Waist: 23" flat can pull taut to 24"
Front Length: 17 3/4"
Back Length: 14 1/2"

Condition: Very Good / Ready to Wear!
Minor tear below right underarm seam. Small hole to sleeve along with some very tiny holes / light wear to fabric that doesn't take away from structural integrity. Missing woolen crepe at bottom sides of front hem - almost like the maker ran out of fabric as the cotton lining is there.
Presents amazingly ~ the tiny holes and wear spots will never be noticed unless examining within inches.
