Fantastic antique late 1910s black silk satin dress designed with a sheer glass beaded silk chiffon bodice overlay. Styled with a square cut neckline with center satin inset, partial satin and sheer beaded over vest with 1/2 length asymmetrical sleeves, wide satin cummerbund and a flowing calf to ankle length skirt. Black cotton net lines the back neckline and there is an interior cream silk bodice with hook/eye closures down the center with an inner silk grosgrain waistband with 1 hook/eye closure. Outer dress closes with snaps up the left hand side of bodice with additional snaps extending partially down left side skirt. The cummerbund closes on left side waist with hooks and loops.
