Antique 1910s black cotton Edwardian mourning or chore dress. The cotton fabric is semi-sheer, possible cambric or lawn, interwoven with X's and Dots. Simplistic style with rounded neckline, defined waistband and full pleated ankle length skirt. She closes with hooks and eyes down center bust to upper hip.

6 small holes and 1 darn to to skirt. Hand stitches to re-secure bodice to right side waistband. A couple hooks/eyes have light green tarnish / rust. Back left sleeve has white markings - I thought it would lift with washing but it remains. Possibly paint or glue residue.
