Stunning antique late Edwardian lace trim floral print silk dress circa 1910s - 1914! Lovely color palette of blue, cerise pink and green in a light to mid weight horizontal ribbed silk trimmed in cerise pink silk taffeta and cream lace. The dress is designed with a V'd neckline with an inset of surplice lace that is accented with 6 dainty pale blue & white milk glass buttons with jeweled centers. Buttons, lace and taffeta accent the short sleeves, which are fully lined with a separate interior mesh sleeve featuring a scalloped embroidered net hem. The upper bodice has a blouson effect due to the nipped layered cummerbund with ruffled taffeta trim. The upper skirt has gathered draped tiers encircled with horizontal piping that culminates in a dramatic back bow of silk satin. From here the ankle length skirt extends straight down with accordion pleated silk sides. The dress fastens with numerous hook and eyes up the left side skirt, left side waist, at center back cummerbund, a surplice outer bust and down center front of net trimmed cotton under bust. An attached inner grosgrain waistband with a satin outer face has two hook and eye closures at front waist.

Light soil to areas of printed silk with some darkened spots - most notable spot on front skirt (8th pic). Some tearing to silk taffeta trim (mainly at neckline and left sleeve hem - 9th pic). 7 of the button accents are missing their jeweled centers. Soil to inner cotton lining of bodice - most notable back neckline.
