Vintage 1940s Textron Elephant Novelty Print Lounging Robe Dressing Gown, 40s Rayon Print Wrap Dress, M - L

Whimsical elephant print vintage 1940's rayon lounging robe / wrap dress. The darling print features elephants in red or gray squares trimmed with in vanilla. Originally meant to be worn as a robe or dressing gown in the 1940s, however, I think she's way too cute to be only seen inside the house. She's styled with a winged collar and fold-over V neckline, half-moon shaped padded shoulders and long sleeves, adjustable inner waist sash to tie closed and a right side cross-over front that is held into place with a tied waist sash. Belt loops on each side of waist, help hold the waist sash into place. A large pocket is found on the right side hip area of skirt.

Condition: Good with minor issues.
A few spots to print. Some pricking and light wear near seams with hand stitches at underarms. Inner seams are double stitched, but the small amount of inner allowance is shredding. Enlarge pics for detail.
