Antique 1900s Black Silk Taffeta Jacket with Floral Appliqué Trim, Victorian Edwardian Coat

Antique black silk taffeta jacket believed to be circa 1900s. She's made of fine taffeta and is styled with a notched winged collar trimmed with floral appliqué which is also trims the sleeve hems. Three large button closures down the center front with smaller accent buttons and ruching encircling the rest of the waist. The sleeves also have ruching just before the slightly flared hem. The jacket is fully lined with striped silk, there are interior armpit guards and the shoulder area feels like there is cotton padding underneath for added protection / warmth.

Tearing to silk at back collar edge. Wear to buttons. 1 darn and 1 tear at front that had been darned. Some minor holes to silk at sleeve hem and a few teensy scattered ones that do not affect structural integrity. Lining has tearing at inner nape as well as discoloration & water stains.
