Vintage 1930s Cream Bias Cut Crepe Evening Dress, 30s Old Hollywood Bridal Wedding Gown

Sorry, this item has sold.

Gorgeous and incredibly sexy cream vintage 1930s crepe bias cut evening dress with an open plunging back! Strappy sleeveless form fitting silhouette - in my opinion bias cuts are the most flattering cut that moves with your body and is comfortable at the same time! Art Deco curved upper waist seam that cascades down the sides and fully extending down the back to the hem which lays in waves. Two skinny belt loops at sides. No closures - you'll need to be able to pull this on over your head.

Presents beautifully - would make a stunning wedding dress!

Please note: pictured with handmade synthetic ribbon closure with authentic Art Deco clasp closure. Not original to dress, but I will include if you like. I don't currently have vintage silk ribbon, which I think would look much nicer and truer to the era.

About bias cuts: "Bias cuts involve the diagonal cutting of fabric against the grain. This created the figure-hugging, draped, yet comfortable silhouette", sourced here: https://bit.ly/3fIbS50
