Vintage 1940s Candy Striper Pinafore Jumper Dress & Nurse Cap, WWII Era Nurse Uniform

Adorable vintage 1940s WWII era red and white cotton candy striper pinafore dress and cap set! A great piece of historical fashion. The dress is darling and would look great worn with a cami or bralette underneath. Two large front pockets, buttons at both shoulders (left side functional), two adjustable waist buttons and two side buttons. The cap is positioned with a vintage bobby pin and has a button at upper center back. Hand written name on interior, "Vicki Rittmann".

For reference, I have a 31.5" bust and 25" waist. Waist was snug but definitely doable.

Condition: Near Excellent / Ready to Wear!
Preserved very well - no condition issues to note for dress. Cap has some small spotting on the brim and could use some help re-shaping.
