Antique 1910s Dress, 1920s Dress, Edwardian Beaded Black Silk Chiffon Dress, M - M/L

Authentic antique 1910s to early 1920s beaded black silk chiffon dress. Styled with jet black glass beaded silk chiffon over dress with a deep V'd neckline, cap-like sleeves and beaded curved front and back skirt panels overtop a sleeveless satin under dress with a wide satin cummerbund. Tube beads trim the chiffon bodice sides as well as ornamental balls on the front cap of sleeve. Dress closes with snaps starting at the top left shoulder and extending down the left side bodice. Three hook and eye closures at waist - (grosgrain lines the waist for structure) and four snap closures for the cummerbund.

Meant for a looser fit. Shown on dress form with 37" bust and 27" waist and I had to clip back the cummerbund.

Condition: Very Good!
A few missing beads - I've secured as many loose threads as possibly. Original dress has long sheer sleeves but due to sleeve holes, my tailor made them into cap-like sleeves. Added new hook/eye to waist as the former gap between two closures seemed too large. 8th image shows flatness in cummerbund - I had it gathered and clipped tighter for pics.
