Vintage 1920s Soutache Jacket, 20s Coat, Dark Blue Roaring 20s Jacket with Soutache Embroidery

Antique 1920s era soutache embellished jacket in dark blue. Lightweight textured rayon crepe with a fold-over collar and open front straight silhouette with two ornamental brass button accents. Cuffed long sleeves also embellished with the brass button accents. Heavy grayish green soutache detailing on the front sides and center back in squiggly designs encompassing abstract floral-esque dark blue silk embroidery. The jacket is lined with silk chiffon.

*Meant to have a loose fit. Shown on dress form with 33" bust.

Condition: Good.
Coat is in good structural and wearable condition, however, the original silk lining is delicate and tearing at inner nape/shoulder and underarm areas. I recommend either removing or replacing the lining. I found nine small holes throughout - most notable at right shoulder area. 1 light spot. Pinkish discoloration to small area of soutache near front hem. Enlarge photos for detail.
