Stunning antique 1920s heavily beaded and rhinestone embellished pink flapper dress with nature-esque motifs! The silver grey beaded and prong-set rhinestone embellishments reminds me of a large spider set in the center with it's legs and web extending in long strands. The beading on the backside presents more like a lotus flower and the beading featured on the elongated shoulder tails appear to resemble trees. Styled with a traditional drop waist silhouette with a sleeveless under bodice lined with a crepe under dress and the heavily embellished over bodice with ruched shoulders and gathers at sides of drop waist. The low skirt is gathered with a scalloped beaded curved split front hem, followed by a layer of the silk chiffon and the crepe lining. No closures - you'll need to be able to pull on over your head.

Shown on dress form with 37" bust and 27" waist. Your measurements need to be at least 2" less than garment for fit.

Condition: Good / TLC Needed before Wear!
Tears to upper left back nape near the shoulder seam (last pic shows outside and inside view) and small hole to right side. This left side needs to be either reinforced with backing or a powder fusible to prevent further tearing. Because of this, I would not wear or display until the area is reinforced.

There is a subtle peach tint to areas of the pink chiffon most notable at left side skirt. Underarm yellowing. Scattering of small holes to underarms. Some areas of spotting / discoloration mainly confined to skirt with a water marking.

Even with the flaws this dress still presents beautifully. The underarms of the over bodice could be turned under to conceal the yellowing and small holes found there. Tons of beadwork and rhinestone embellishments that will draw the eye over the condition issues!
