Vintage 1930s Ivory Silk Chiffon and Net Lace Peignoir Nightgown Set with Bell Sleeves, 30s Bridal Lingerie Trousseau

Breathtaking vintage 1930's ivory silk chiffon and lace nightgown and peignoir robe set. The peignoir is incredibly romantic styled with a Peter Pan collar and dainty scalloped net lace with floral embroidery making up the bulk of the bodice featuring dramatic sweeping lace embroidered silk chiffon bell shape butterfly sleeves! Underneath the scalloped floral net lace is a fitted net bodice with an eye/hook at front waist. A partially attached chiffon sash winds its way around the midriff to accent the nipped waistline. The floor length skirt is gathered and falls in lovely waves.

The sleeveless nightgown is made up of silk chiffon and floral lace which accents the seams of the midriff and under bust. Styled with a plunging V'd neckline with an even deeper plunging surplice back. A gathered double layer covers the front bust and the gathered floor length skirt falls in gentle waves. The nightgown has two side snap closures.
