Antique Victorian Black Silk Charmeuse Blouse with Ribbon Net Trim and Rosettes, 42 Bust

Fabulous antique Victorian evening blouse in luxurious silk charmeuse fabric. Deep V'd neckline trimmed with pink and black striped ribbon and gathered net lace. Soutache appliqués accenting the shoulders with a non-functional toggle on the back left. Fantastic tiered sleeve detail and partially attached gathered cummerbund with gathered 'flower' rose design at front. The blouse is fully lined with polished cotton with a separate under sleeve. Fabric covered boning at inner seams along with a silky inner waistband with hook and eye closure and ribbon tails. Truly a gorgeous blouse.

Silk was added to both sides. The visible outer seams are now showing some wear/tear at and near these connecting seams. Underarms have some tearing to silk with about 1" seam opening that needs to be re-stitched down. A safety pin was used to pin down one of the fabric rosettes.
