Antique Edwardian Copper Velvet Dress, Antique Walking Suit, 2pc Beaded Lace Trim 1900s Skirt and Bodice Jacket, Steampunk

Antique 1900s 2pc Edwardian dress set in rich watered copper velvet! Bronze beaded coiled soutache neckline, lace trimmed silk inset and embellished velvet collar yoke; gathered puff sleeve with a more fitted cotton lining and embroidered net lace hems; flattering seamed work with a slightly flared back styled with a center pocket pleat. The bodice jacket closes with hook and eyes down the center with an eye/hook closure at left shoulder for lace inset and snap closure at center bodice for left collar flap. The bodice jacket is heavily seamed without boning.

The ankle length skirt has wonderful gathers and is embellished with two bronzed copper beaded black floral appliqués on the back left and right sides (realized after pictures were taken). There is a hidden left side pocket amidst one of the gathers. Two snaps up back center with 'tape' waistband without closures - I pinned closed. The skirt is fully lined with starchy brown cotton and has a thicker hem protector lining as well.

*Hand stitches along inner seams to make smaller (9th pic). The side seams have been reopened leaving tiny open stitches. Quite a few hand stitches throughout.

Condition: Good / Very Good! Hand stitches and seams mentioned above with some seams made smaller. A few blemishes to velvet - most notable shown in last pic are found on skirt near hem. I have not cleaned.
