1920s Dress, 20s Dress, Pink Beaded 1920s Flapper Dress with Provenance, Gatsby Jazz Age Dress, XS

Gorgeous Vintage 1920s beaded pink chiffon dress worn by Marie Ida Nesener in 1926 as a bridesmaid dress for Lorraine Mahnke and Herman Haack's wedding on June 26, 1926. The note that comes with this dress also states she wore a head band of pearls. I love when I can get a glimpse of the history behind antique garments!

Made entirely of pink silk chiffon with prong-set rhinestones and tiny clear glass bugle beads. Dainty sleeves, drop waist with band and flared asymmetrical skirt with a slight wrap at the front and back. The dress closes with side snaps and two eye/hooks. Truly a lovely garment - she can be worn, but please do so with care due to her fragile nature.

Shoulder Width: 13 1/4" (petite)

*Fit my dress form very well at 33.5" bust and 24" waist. I did have to pop-in the shoulder though - so please double check shoulder width. I also do not recommend bust larger than 32" in order to not over stress the silk chiffon.*

Condition: Good! Light underarm yellowing. A few minor spots (faint water spot at bust, faint spots at back shoulder, 2 tiny pink spots on back). Small hole to back shoulder. Some thinning of fabric around some prong-set rhinestones. Minor pricking.
