Rare and beautifully hand-crocheted tunic sweater believed to be circa 1920s or possibly made later using a 1920s crochet design. Crafted in a soft wool-rayon blend yarn that has a subtle sheen and light halo, giving it a fluid, slightly silky drape. The design features a deep-V neckline framed by a narrow collar and long sleeves with gentle flare and small slits at the cuffs. The body is worked in an open filet crochet pattern — the lower portion and sleeve ends display a romantic stylized floral motif typical of 1920s needlework. The overall shape falls past the hip with deep side slits and a slightly fitted upper body that flatters without clinging.
