Eye-catching vintage 1930s cotton crochet dress in a vibrant, crisp apple-green hue! This piece originally came to me in a pale yellow palette with white-faded areas; I transformed it using RIT dye and a dye fixative to achieve this fantastic fresh color. Crafted in a beautifully hand-worked open-wave pattern, the dress skims the figure in that coveted Deco-era, bias-cut silhouette — gently fitted through the torso with a graceful flare at the hem. The short flutter sleeves, with subtle “cold-shoulder-esque” split sides, and the soft round neckline flatter the shoulders. The dress fastens with four snaps up from left waist to underarm / sleeve hem. Unlined, allowing you to style it with your choice of slip for daytime wear or a more dramatic layer for evening.
