$325.00
Dreamy antique 1900s Edwardian white cotton lawn dress, styled in a sheer lightweight weave with exquisite embroidery and cutwork lace details throughout. The bodice is framed with delicate floral embroidery, insertion lace, ruffled cotton net and pintuck pleating, finished with non-functional crochet buttons down the front. The soft ruffle collar and sleeves are trimmed in cutwork lace and net, and a sky blue rayon ribbon (not original) at the waist adds a sweet touch of color.
The skirt cascades in airy tiers of lace-edged panels, with the second tier featuring floral embroidery. The dress closes with hooks and eyes partially up the left hand side skirt, waist and up the left hand side bust to shoulder. The bodice is lined in sheer cotton net. Light and airy, this dress would have originally been worn over a slip.
A timeless heirloom piece perfect for bridal, vintage portraiture, or display.
