Edwardian Eton Jacket, Antique 1900s Embroidered Silk Trim Cropped Velvet Jacket and Waist Belt, Zindorf Milwaukee

Fancy antique 1900s Victorian Edwardian cropped velvet Eton jacket featuring gorgeous embroidered silk trim in a floral design also accented with metallic bullion and soutache braid! Such a rich bronze hue, the velvet itself has pleats, ornamental stitching and gathered puff sleeves that are 3/4 length showing off more of the ornate embroidered silk trim at the cuffs. The jacket closes with large hook/eyes down the front. The interior has a glazed cotton lining and exposed buckram at the sides that once was covered by fine silk that has now mostly deteriorated with only remnants remaining. Labeled 'Zindorf Milwaukee'.

Complete with matching stitched velvet V cut waistband with two faux pinwheel-esque buttons. The waistband closes with large hook/eye closures at center back.

Original interior silk lining mostly gone. Pricking to nape from visible interior hand stitching. Hand stitches at top sides of ornamental stitching panels (7th pic). Wear to silk trim (most notable at center below braid and unravel to top left side - 8th pic). Minor discoloration spot on trim (9th pic). A couple minor pulls to embroidery thread.

Can definitely be worn. Care needed when handling the silk trim to prevent further flaking.
