1900s Edwardian Cotton Lace Gibson Girl Dress Skirt and Blouse, Antique Dress, XS

Lovely antique early 1900s striped woven cotton and inset lace 2pc skirt and bodice dress set fashioned in the Gibson Girl style! The blouse has a fitted neckline and pouched blouson / pigeon bust with a nipped banded waistline and a flared hem. The 3/4 length sleeves feature lace trimmed flared asymmetrical cuffs. The blouse closes with hook/loops and a few snaps down the front center. There are also additional hooks stitched to interior waistband that hook onto eyes at the skirt's waistline. The upper back, front bust sides and sleeves are lined in mesh net. Paired with the floor length asymmetrical skirt that is fitted through the top hip where it flows in lovely waves to the floor. The backside is every slightly elongated. The insertion lace on the skirt is lined with net mesh. The skirt has a hook/eye closure at center back waistband. Please note: the hooks and eyes on interior blouse waistband and skirt waistband are modern.

Condition: Good!
Skirt: Some small holes/fabric breaks. 2 darns. Minor spots with faint purple spotting on back hem.
Blouse: 1 Mend. Minor seam breaks. Wear hole at back above waistband. Light spotting & yellowing at underarms. Some frayed edges to peplum. Some loose threads on both.
