HOLD for Jamie 1900s Edwardian Silk Linen Jacket & Linen Skirt Set

Sorry, this item has sold.

Wonderful antique 1900s tailored silk linen jacket with braided soutache trim! She's fancier than the long car / motoring coats from the 1900s - maybe she was more of a walking suit jacket. Braided silk soutache trims the neckline, makes up the loop 'frog' closures and embellishments at upturned cuffs and back side slits. Four large button closures down front and very flattering seamwork throughout which is really showcased on the backside. The jacket is lined with silk and labeled "Wessels 316 Republic Building Chicago".

Paired with Edwardian linen skirt - not included but I just adore the pairing. The skirt is also currently listed in my shop.
