Outstanding museum quality 1900s silk trim black wool cape labeled Printzess Distinction in Dress. “The Printz-Biederman Company of Cleveland, makers of the "Printzess" garments for women, was founded in 1893 by Moritz Printz and Joseph Biederman.” The Printzess label guaranteed their craftsmanship and it definitely shows on this antique cape with its stitched pintucks and silk trim, arrow point detailing with non-functional buttons, neck tab closure and amazing sweep. I also love the two-way collar, which I've shown standing up and folded over.
Truly fantastic outerwear ~ you will not be disappointed!
