Gorgeous antique dark burgundy cut velvet Victorian bodice circa 1880s with stunning bronze colored filigree 'leaf' and steel cut shank buttons! Styled with a split front standing collar trimmed in black satin, 16 button down closures, flattering seam-work that showcases the nipped waistline and a flared V front hem with a stacked slit back. Lined in cotton muslin, boning at three of the interior seams and an attached inner wide waist with four hook/eye closures. The sleeves are lined in a darker brown glazed cotton.
