Wonderful antique 1880s brown cut velvet long tailed bodice jacket! Floral cut velvet design - I love the sheen when the light hits at certain angles. Crochet covered button down closures, flattering seam-work, double V split front hem and an elongated back hem with split tails. Fully lined in cotton muslin with two interior closures - a waistband closure and short side closures with hook/eyes. Fully boned at each interior seam with exception of two flanking back side seams. Museum quality condition!
