1930s Silk Velvet Dress, Vintage 30s Copper Brown Bias Cut Gown with Cold Shoulders, NRA National Recovery Act, XS - Small

Absolutely stunning vintage 1930s copper brown silk velvet bias cut evening dress ~ circa 1935! I have her twin in sapphire blue which is currently NFS - see handwritten note in last image. Luxurious silk velvet with such a beautiful copper sheen and the most flattering bias cut silhouette that hugs your curves while also allowing your hips to breathe. She's styled with a gathered neckline, keyhole back opening and fabulous cold shoulders before her long sleeves taper with button/loop closures. Deco seaming throughout and a fabric belt with Art Deco rhinestone-esque paste jewel clasp closure. Floor length skirt with a flared hem and diagonal Deco seam hem. No closures - you'll need to be able to pull her on over your head.

Condition: Very Good!
Darkened area to velvet on R side skirt - I believe a velvet ironing needle board would take care of this as there isn't a water stain on the underside. Deco belt missing long paste jewel.
