Antique late 1890s early 1900s blue and white check cotton mutton sleeve blouse! So very rare to find everyday cotton blouses from this era and this one looks like she’s barely been worn. High split collar neckline and dramatic leg o mutton sleeves, lot of flattering gathers and a nipped ruched waist with a short flared hem. The backside features flattering V seam-work at upper back and a pleated center waist detail. She closes down the front with Mother of Pearl clasp closures. The sleeves also have small sewn on buttons and MOP link closures at cuff.
This antique blouse comes with the original owner’s calling card, “Augusta Krueger” which has been pinned to the blouse. I wish I knew more information about her!
