Fantastic antique 1900s Victorian Edwardian embroidered sheer white cotton and cutwork lace combination undergarment with an attached camisole and drawers with a skirt back! Historically this type of antique undergarment was the first item worn before putting on a corset. This is the first I’ve seen with the ‘skirt’ back which conceals that the front is actually open drawers at the crotch.
She’s styled with a Cluny lace trimmed plunging scoop neckline with an interwoven silk ribbon tie closure. Cutout sections of embroidery and Cluny lace accent the yoke. The bodice buttons down the front featuring flattering tiny vertical pintuck seams extending up from center waistline which has a cotton tie closure as well as two buttons with a slight cross-over effect which helps to conceal that the front is actually lace trimmed wide leg drawers.
