Early 1900s Floral Roses Print Edwardian Dress, Antique Garden Party Dress with Ruffled Tiers & Velvet Trim, XS

Gorgeous antique early 1900s Victorian Edwardian floral cabbage roses print dress set! I adore this material - it's a sheer silk organza - very similar to organdy with a subtle ivory stripe pattern amongst the thorny cabbage roses print. The contrasting black velvet trim pops against the delicate floral print. The bodice is styled with a wider set near off shoulder neckline piped in black velvet featuring a double tiered ruffle collar. The 3/4 length sleeves are have black velvet trim and gathered flared hems. Shirtwaist style front with a tailored gathered back. The bodice has an interior lining with hook/eye closures down the center and the sleeve is also fully lined with exception of flared hem.

The sweeping floor length skirt is styled with double velvet trim that extends into inverted V points at each front side which are embellished with center bows. Below the second bow on each side between the velvet trim the skirt falls into 5 gathered tiers. The skirt is fully lined with glazed cotton and closes with two hook/eyes at back waistband.

A non-attached satin back velvet waistband is included and original to the dress. It has a bow design with a slight extension and has a hook/eye closure. I've shown this waistband clipped back on the skirt as the waist is larger than the skirt waist.

A couple light areas of discoloration / spotting - most notable shown. Tiny hand stitches @ top left bodice under ruffles (hidden from view).
