1850s 1860s Bronze Silk Pagoda Sleeve Bodice, Antique Civil War Era Victorian Bodice, Cross & Bones Goldstone Shank Buttons, Small 32 Bust

Outstanding antique 1850s 1860s bronze silk striped bodice with sweeping pagoda sleeves! The pagoda sleeves are amazing styled with three gathered sections before flaring out to their wide sweep that is lined in cream silk. The bodice is styled with a fitted round neckline and deep sloped shoulders, 9 glittering goldstone shank buttons featuring a center inlay of a white cross and two bones (3 of the 9 inlays are missing but the outline remains), flattering seam-work with a tiny hidden pocket below the left waist and a deep pointed front, sides and back hem! The bodice is fully lined with fine cotton muslin and the silk sleeve hem lining. Both side seams are boned along with the innermost front seams.

10th button is just brass shell and it's a circular shape and not oval.
