Antique Calico Dress & Full Apron Set, 1900s Edwardian Cotton Workwear Dress, Mennonite Dress, Pioneer Prairie Dress, 27 - 27.5 Waist

I recently acquired a collection of amazing antique mennonite dresses originally from a Pennsylvania estate. This one is a white speckled black calico print cotton dress (almost appears dark blue) dating to the early 1900s. Styled with a fitted neckline and grayish black mother of pearl button down bodice. The front waistband is 1/2 attached to the bodice with the left side open closing onto the skirt with two hook/eyes. I’ve added a snap in-between to close the gap between skirt waistband and bodice waistband. The pleated and gathered ankle to floor length skirt has a hidden right side pocket. The bodice is lined in gray muslin and the seams are finished with hand whip stitches.

 A full front apron in matching fabric is shown over the dress in the video and first, third and sixth images. The apron closes with snaps up the bust and with two hook/eyes at the left side waist.
