Victorian Beaded Burgundy Satin and Velvet Bodice Jacket, 1880s Bodice, XXS As-Found

Victorian bronzed beaded burgundy satin and velvet bodice jacket. Styled with a high collar neckline of striped velvet, velvet trimmed front and sleeves cuffs embellished with bronzed beadwork. Elongated center front and fanned center back. Fully boned and lined with glazed cotton with an interior tiny satin pocket. The velvet must have been added at a later date as you can see the button holes on the satin that's underneath the velvet trim. 14 modern hook closures have been added to left side bodice, however, there are no corresponding eyes. The only closures in use are the two modern hook/eyes at front collar.

Underarm darkening / discoloration. A couple minor holes / small tear. Wear at sleeve seams along with some tiny stitches. 1/2" seam opening at back right princess seam that needs some stitches. Glazed cotton lining is shedding.
