Vintage 1940s Lilli Ann Black Wool Velvet Diamond Jacket with Silver Flecks, New Look 40s Blazer Jacket, Medium 38 Bust

Outstanding vintage 1940s black wool blazer jacket with silver flecks in the fabric and applied black velvet diamond detailing attributed to Lilli Ann. Styled with a pointed winged collar neckline, velvet harlequin diamonds accenting the front bodice and entire hemline, flattering seam-work with an hourglass 'new look' silhouette, padded shoulders and long sleeves with folded pointed cuffs. The jacket is fully lined in rayon crepe.

*Please note: when I spied this jacket, I immediately thought it must be a Lilli Ann due to the high quality and high end tailoring. The only label that still remains is the National Recover Board Coat & Suit Industry. There are threads though at interior nape where a label would have been.
