I recently acquired a collection of amazing antique Mennonite dresses originally from a Pennsylvania estate. This early 1900s 3pc dress set is a gorgeous shade of blue. The material, I believe, is a silk linen wool blend as it has horizontal ribs with very subtle slubs. She's styled with a fitted neckline and seamed bodice with 11 black mother of pearl button down closures and one hook/eye at waistline. Interior blue cotton bodice lining (sleeves are unlined) - the sides and back seams have hand whip stitched seams. Gathered ankle to floor length skirt. Detached front split cape with four snap closures. The half apron has short 7" ties - would need to add hook/eyes or snap closures.
