1940s Black & Ivory Taffeta Gown, Vintage 40s Dress, Cap Sleeves Dansant Originals, Small

Gorgeous vintage 1940's black and ivory cream silk taffeta evening dress featuring black appliqué trim! I absolutely adore the design of this bodice with it's cap-sleeve portrait style neckline trimmed in swirling black paisley appliqué work which also accents the subtle Basque waistline and top skirt. Padded shoulders for a defined shape, seamed and fitted bodice and a lightly gathered sweeping floor length skirt. Side metal zip closure.
