Antique 1910s Edwardian Walking Suit, 19Teens Suffragette Walking Suit, Black Wool and Velvet Bodice Jacket and Skirt, Medium

Amazing antique 1910s Edwardian wool walking suit trimmed in black velvet featuring the most swoon-worthy fitted button-up neckline! This two piece Edwardian dress suit set includes a charcoal black wool calf to ankle length skirt with flattering seams and a side belt detail. The skirt closes with 7 snaps down the back and the back hem is ever so slightly elongated. Unlined with an interior grosgrain waistband.

The bodice jacket is the cat’s meow made of charcoal black wool and jet black velvet trim that creates such an impressive visage! She’s styled with a black velvet standing collar with a wrap-over front bodice that closes with 11 black buttons and velvet loops up the arrow shaped neckline trim. There are actually 13 loops, but only 11 buttons so I’ve pictured with the two top loops open as well as folded down. The long sleeves also feature velvet cuffs with arrow points featuring 3 button accents. Gathered waistline that closes with two snaps and the original waist belt and a flared hip length hem. She’s lined with black silk satin and there's a thin layer of cotton batting in-between for warmth.

The set looks impeccable together and the flared hem of the jacket when paired with the skirt has a perfect peplum look!

Jacket lining has wear / shredding to silk satin at inner nape & shoulder area. Less than a handful of tiny holes.
