Antique late 1910s sheared black velvet wide brim hat accented with a mulberry hued velvet ribbon interwoven with a black sequined appliqué and large faceted black beads along with a short curled cerise ostrich feather. Interior crown has thin black cotton lining that covers most of the coarse buckram and corded wire? that keeps the hat shape intact.

Presents beautifully and in amazing condition with minor flaws.

Size: up to 22" head circumference
Mannequin head is 20 1/2" around and I have a 22" head circumference and it has a nice snug fit.
Brim measures approx. 42" around
Inner crown measures approx. 22" around and approx. 4" deep

Condition: Very Good!
Wear to ostrich feather - cut feathers & loose feather debris. Sequin appliqué has a cloudy appearance. Minor wear to cotton lining inner crown.
