Edwardian Embroidered Dress, Antique 1910s Sheer White Cotton Lingerie Dress, Medium 28" Waist

Gorgeous antique 1910s very fine, sheer and lightweight cotton lingerie dress. The body of this dress is made up of a very fine airy windowpane weave cotton along with an equally fine and sheer white cotton. Dainty floral embroidery accents the neckline and attached front vest, elbow length sleeves and skirt in finger like projections. The skirt also is accented with a horizontal band of embroidery and diamond shaped filet lace and embroidered insets. The dress closes with numerous hook and loops down the center front bodice, changing to snaps across the left side waist and back into hook and loops down the upper portion of the left side skirt. Left vest has a yellow streak near shoulder and an even fainter yellow streak just over halfway down (9th pic). Embroidery at front vest is not uniform with darn to right side. 1 seam created on back skirt due to previous tear & a small hole (10th pic collage).
